Refund Policy

This policy explains how Bitfield handles free trials, subscription charges, refunds, cancellations, and payment mistakes.

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Free trial

If you choose the free trial, $0 is due today. You can cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first paid charge.

Subscription charges

Subscription charges are final once processed unless this Refund Policy says otherwise or the law requires otherwise. Canceling stops future renewal; it does not automatically refund a prior charge.

Refund requests

If something went wrong with checkout, billing, duplicate payment, trial conversion, or active-device count, email support@bitfield.so with the account email, charge date, and what happened.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and processor timing can vary.

Active-device usage

If your charge includes extra active devices, the total is based on the active-device count and pricing curve shown at checkout or in the account portal. Device count disputes should be reported quickly so the activation record can be reviewed.

Chargebacks

If you file a payment dispute for a valid charge instead of contacting support, Bitfield may suspend account access while the dispute is reviewed. This does not waive any amount still owed.

How to request help

  • Email support@bitfield.so.
  • Include the account email used at checkout.
  • Include the charge date and the payment amount.
  • Explain whether the issue is a refund, cancellation, duplicate charge, trial conversion, or active-device count.

Questions go to support@bitfield.so.
